Founded in 2014 and incorporated in 2016 by Afeez Akinfola Oyinloye, a visionary entrepreneur with a BSc in Information Systems from the University of East London and an MSc in International Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University, MacTech has grown from a bold startup into a trusted partner for businesses, government entities, and communities across Nigeria.
Our journey began with a mission to harness technology for real-world impact. In 2021, we launched WakaForMe Ride, Osun State’s first-ever ride-hailing and logistics app, alongside its logistics arm, WakaForMe Errands. This pioneering platform transformed transportation by improving efficiency by 20%, creating over 500 jobs for drivers and motorbike riders, and boosting small businesses with affordable delivery services. WakaForMe showcased our ability to blend innovation with economic empowerment.
Beyond application and web development projects we have delivered to hundreds of companies, we’ve trained over 500 young Nigerians in tech skills—coding, app development, and IT management—building a legacy of talent development that strengthens the digital ecosystem.
